Dancing WALL-E

Meet Wall-E, a scaled-down version of the adorable Pixar character that works as a music visualizer. Wall-E was created as a final project for my Principles of Integrated Engineering (PIE) course.

Responsibilities

For this project, I primarily focused on mechanical design & fabrication of Wall-E’s arms and body

In addition, I was responsible for mounting and integration of electrical components. I worked closely with our team's electrical engineers to allocate space within Wall-E's body and optimize placement of electronics for wiring maintenance and board/battery access.

Towards the final iterations of our project, I also worked on Wall-E's aesthetics, such as designing the rastering on the body panels and painting all components to achieve an overall, movie-accurate look.

Below is a video of some of our classmates dancing with Wall-E during our final class demo.
